Some users have trouble posting in mchat occassionally

First off, thanks for the great mchat mod and wonderful support. Lately some users are having trouble and I'm unable to duplicate their issues, but many have reported it, so I thought I'd try to figure it out:

Anyway, my board is called raiderforums.com, and it's a pretty good sized forum, and we've had as many as 60 people using the chat at one time, and it's alway's gone pretty well as far as I could tell. With that said, we do have some random issues that members have been posting.

Here's some different posts we've had from users in the last 6 months:

I assume it's a problem on my end, but I can't figure it out.

Sometimes It'll let me chat without a problem. Others, like now, it won't let me post. I click the submit button and enter, but neither will post the image.

Any ideas? I haven't changed anything from times that it does work and times that it do not work. I figured it may be a Javascript problem? I updated my Java, but it still seems to give me a problem.

I have trouble posting in chat. I can type in the box but when I hit submit nothing happens.

Chat doesn't automatically update or let me post.

Any ideas on what the issue may be?

Chat is not working for me

I have been unable to post in chat, it doesn't seem to be auto-updating, and it is putting "whois" information next to everybody's posts.

I responded to them:

Have you tried closing your browser? Logging out? Perhaps a different browser? Let me know if any of those work, I really have no idea what causes it but a bunch of different people have reported it happening to them.

was using Chrome, closed it, re-opened it and then logged back in - still showing the WHOIS information and still not working. I tried Explorer - same thing. I restarted my PC and then fired up Chrome again. Same thing.

ok, I just realized that my chat settings were disabled for guests.

I set up a test user account for anyone who feels like helping

Didn't help. Tried logging in with an alternate account, and that didn't help. Ran CCleaner (which I run frequently) and that didn't help. Mobile style gives me the same thing. Wait.....maybe I can try my ipad. nope didn't work

ok, final update, maybe this will help identify why we get problems with this. Looks like it has to do with users connections.

It doesn't work on my ipad. Tried on my iphone with no luck. Turned off wifi and then it worked. I'm in Saskatchewan visiting my parents and at their house - maybe it doesn't work from bald flat prairie wifi?

Just tried it and it seems to be working okay. The stats part is showing as aborted in javascript console though. Not sure if that has anything to do with cloudflare you have going on.
