GPLv3 released!

The free software foundation has released the final version of the GNU general public license version 3. phpBB is licensed under version 2 of this license. What it does, is it makes sure that everybody has the right to use your code. They can use it for anything, as long as they release their own work under the same license and keep any copyright notices. There were quite a few changes (improvements?) since version 2. More information about what changed, and why it changed can be found here: http://gplv3.fsf.org/
