WOW!! Notepad ++

I "was" and avid user of Editpad Lite (JGSoft) for too many years to count.

I began using Notepad++ about 3 months ago on a whim, to see what all the whoopty doo is about.

Yesterday and today I really delved into Notepad++ to look under the hood. I've got to say WOW and WOW again. EXTREMELY powerful text / hex editor. It's like a turkey dinner with all the trimmings and then some some stuff you've never eaten before but it sure tastes good.

If you've never used it, give it a try. I do find one or two drawbacks in comparison to Editpad Lite, but not enough to go back to Editpad Lite.

As far as I can tell, it doesn't come for a Mac =/

Nothing that is good is ever gotten from a Mac.

Notepad++ is the only editor I have ever used for the past 7 or so year.

I use geany my self but im a linux user now when i was a windows user it was notepad++

I use notepad++ now 4 years and I find it really easy to work

Dreamweaver is the only editor I have ever used for the past 7 or so years.
It's like a turkey dinner with all the trimmings and then some some stuff you've never eaten before plus some dinner rolls, a ham and a beer on the side... and it sure tastes great.

I downloaded Notepad++ this year to check it out. Aeh, it's ok.

I was told never to use dreamweaver for mods and stuff - but I've just gotten into it this year in working on other sites

The reason one is told to not use dreamweaver is because the settings have to be configured within it precisely or it will mess up php files.

I can't stand Mac either however, it's the best out there for professional video editing software.

A4 paper any one remember that? What you have to do is put a pen or pencil or what ever you prefer ,crayon or paint etc to it press down and write !! not tap a keyboard.

I found ++ like a year ago, before it was just notepad. I don't really know of other editors, would like to though, I owuld like to try some of the others one out. I like the theme changing, my only complaint is that when i customize my theme it never seems to stay.
