Just a quick question, but..
Isn't that what the Outbox is for? I've always thought that all messages in the Outbox were unreceived, and when they left, it meant that they were viewed.

Wow, it's true! He's going hulk (green and angry) already!
And yes, that's what the outbox & sent messages folders are for. When the message is read, it goes from Outbox to Sent Messages.
