I'm not into microblogging but i like the simplistic approach. Well designed. :)

It's kinda microblogging, but not truely. I don't limit the character entry amount, to start. I intended Minipost as a suitable replacement for Handyman's AJAX chat MOD for my board, since I don't like the way the chat works.

But mostly, I made this so I could play with an idea of building in a CLI-style administration interface in PHP, for the fun of it. Being able to type into the box to turn off Minipost is kinda cool, after all.

But mostly, I love the command...you type in and it makes a Minipost as that user. Fun for messing with people.. :D

*shakes fist at site staff* BLAST YOU SPAMBOTS!

Anyways, would someone give me their opinion as to how I'm doing the sudo CLI-like interface? I'm not too sure I plugged every hole in it. :?

I think it would be more user-friendly to provide a text field (or dropdown) where the admin can select the username to post as.

A textarea is IMO unsuited for a CLI interface. A CLI interface should be responsive, one line being one command. Feel free to disagree. :P

In phpBB posting as someone else is sometimes actually practical. When I post a draft for an announcement to the private team forums at phpBBModders.net someone else can post it in his own name. This is needed sometimes. :P
