Changes in 1.0.0 RC 2 -
  • Fix update check location
  • Slight changes to ACP style
  • Docs file updated with more information

You don't need to update the database for this update -- simply replace the files you currently have with the latest set of files.

You know where it says "Manage Crunch Tags" on the header of the table in the ACP? Just rename it to "Action" Every who has used phpBB before will know exactly what those icons mean.

I'll look into that, along with making a few quick changes to Crunch tonight.

Hey, I am thinking about testing this one out on my website to see what all can be done with it. Once I have a chance to test it out, I'll let you know what I think. :)

EDIT: Ok, so far so good; uploaded all the files, installed and all. And I've created my first crunch and tag. But now I don't see how to add it to my page. I added the PHP bit from the crunch_docs.php, but I don't see exactly how I'm supposed to show it on the template. I'm probably missing something obvious, but could you show me how it's done? Thanks!

I bet you didn't add in the line for the template include. Not sure if I forgot to include this in the docs for RC2 or not.

Code: Select all

<!-- INCLUDE crunch_body.html -->
is all you need, just place it where you want the Crunch to appear in the template.

Hello,

Excellent mod and is perfect for what I need but I need to ask something...

Can I use more than 1 crunch on the same page? and if not then is it possible to make it do that.

What I want to do is for example I have a custom page that I want to show crunch1 at the top and then some images and links and stuff and then display crunch2 at the bottom, is that possible?

Code: Select all

Crunch1
Some random content
Crunch2

Thank you so much :D.

I've not tested it, but apparently some other users have reported it is possible. Also, as an FYI, this MOD is also in the MODDB at phpBB.com, link here: http://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopi ... &t=1897005

Yes, it is possible, I did it on my site. I have two crunch pages load on the same page.
