[DEV] textCAPTCHA Plugin

Modification Name: textCAPTCHA Plugin
Author: SyntaxError90
Modification Description: Adds a plugin to utilize the textCAPTCHA service. Boasting 157,500,799 questions, "All easy", the logic based nature and wide variety of the questions is suppose help in the fight against spam bot registration.
Modification Version: 0.0.5

Image Image

Requirements:
  • API Key (requires registration at textCAPTCHA
  • SimpleXML

Languages: Image Image (Due to limitations on the textCAPTCHA system itself, English will be the only language supported)

Modification Download: Coming soon!

Notes: Inspired by phpBBweekly episode number 125, CAPTCHAs were thoroughly discussed, and a this service was brought up. It seems like a worth while project, and as it is just a plugin, seems simple enough.

Very nice! Interesting concept. Great way of linking QnA to a remote service. The right way to do it would be to extend the Q&A captcha class.

One note however, it might be worth mentioning the requirement of 5.1.3 (this requirement comes with simpleXML).

Yeah, I need to get the requirements up... but I never thought of simply extending the QA class, that might be really worth looking into instead of creating one from scratch.

This should help loads of admins using Q&A, great idea Sam. I know quite a few websites that would benefit from this. :)
