What is the number of queries that it adds to the index page, roughly?

Very cool!

I have a suggestion regarding the queries. You should either use a $config variable, the cache functions or even the SQL caching functionality to cache those.

(In all three cases the file cache is used)

Thanks Igor!! :)

Wouldn't caching hurt the "real time" ability of the mod?

Maybe if I say it this way. If a moderator acts on a reported post, eg, then the cache should be deleted and the sql would run anyway to correct the count of reported whatevers...correct?

I mean this isn't a statistic thing (like HoL's activity stats mod). Hope that made sense.

With the set_config and the manual caching (cache functions) methods you would be able to update/clear cache every time a moderator action is done.
