Quick thought of what you think.?
Make it more fancy? Tone it down? It's a mobile style. What is your first thought?

Re: Quick thought of what you think.?
Bit too much IMHO for a mobile style
Re: Quick thought of what you think.?
Thank you for your comment Rich.
Actually it's not a mobile style, it never has been. It's a full style with a mobile view.
I put the phpBBmobile style together back in 2008 and it's been/being used at STG for mobile users.
Quite a few people use it on their site.
I'm updating this older style to 3.0.11 and sprucing it up to emulate the prosilver color scheme.
It uses the prosilver background img and images. promobile_se will use your styles images and colors.
I don't know if I should tone it down to look more like prosilver or keep the pazazzz it has now.
I created this full/mobile style because...
I don't like the feel of the mobile styles out there. I want to see what I'm use to seeing in a full style.
When you had your mobile style, the link to your site in my mobile had a ?style=1 added to it.
I can't use ?style= at Stoker's so I'll only go to his mChat page on my mobile, because of his mobile style.
I'm working just those four pages right now, until it looks right then I"ll tear into all the other templates.
I need to get the right look before moving on. I'll make it look more prosilver later and post back.

Re: Quick thought of what you think.?
I agree with Rich if it's used for mobile only. However, I also need to add, it's very nice. It appears to be "sexy" for lack of a better term. I like it quite a bit.
Is this not a hack from another mobile style? Parts look familiar.
Very nice work Ed.

Re: Quick thought of what you think.?
Thank you for your comment Ed, except for the hack remark.
Haha, no it's not a hack from another mobile style. You are too funny.
It is the actual phpBBmobile style I created five years ago... modified.
I've decided to tone it down and make it look closer to the prosilver look.
Then promobile_se will look just like your forum, with a mobile view of course.

Re: Quick thought of what you think.?
Ahhhh. I was not aware you had made the mobile style. That's why I called it a hack. 5 years ago I was not involved with PhpBB but I do know this mobile style. I think (not 100%) uses it IIRCC.
Thanks Ed.
BTW, my comment was not meant to be a smart ass remark and I'm sorry if it sounded such.

Re: Quick thought of what you think.?
No Ed, your comments were fine... and Rich's comments were fine.
I so much appreciate when anyone will share their thoughts. Great respects.
I'll show you guys where I took this later. It's looking sweet! :inlove:

I had to look twice to see the difference between the mobile style and prosilver
Anyway, take a look at this tool: http://gtmetrix.com/
You can use it to optimize the style
Re: Quick thought of what you think.?
Thanks Stoker, I'll use that throughout the process.

Re: Quick thought of what you think.?
I, for one, like it! I liked the original one, too, but unfortunately I didn't and still don't have the skills to modify that or this for our site. It would be great, though. As soon as something as cool as this is suitable for our site, I am on it!
Re: Quick thought of what you think.?
Installed! However, SN presents huge problems upon logging in. As a guest, there are no problems (well, SN does not work for guests)... Why, oh why, is it always this hard?
Re: Quick thought of what you think.?
looks pretty cool
Re: Quick thought of what you think.?
This looks promising. A few of my members asked about a mobile app or style a while back so I tried the Artodia mobile style but they didn't like it, neither did I for that matter. Nobody used it, they preferred the Prosilver based full style. Your original mobile style worked well but it does look a bit dated now so I will be watching the development of this version with interest.
