Need help installing mods

Need help installing mods

Hey I'm new to this how inserting mods thing and sorry if this is the wrong forum to do this is in, but everytime I download a zip of a mod ... it has these files: i.snag. gy/l5c8X.jpg

How exactly do I put this in? I'm using CuteFTP for my site. Thanks!
