Stop Forum Spam

Attached is my latest mod that will integrate stop forum spam into your forum for registration and posting. I have tested it pretty much but would like to know if anyone is having any issues (eg, I need it tested on other sites).

If a user, or bot, tries to register using a username and/or email addy and/or ip address that is listed in the stop forum spam database, registration will be denied and an email will be sent to the board founder as well as admins notifying them of such. An entry will also be made with in the ACP under the Admin section.

To test it go to http://stopforumspam.com and use an email addy (or spoof your IP address with one that they have in their database) that is marked as spam. Any questions, just ask. ;)

Is there any slow down when posting?
Im thinking that it might be enough to check on registration.

RE: posting, no idea I haven't tested it as I haven't spoofed my IP to be able to do so...probably not though there isn't a big slow down on registration.

Testet with this email: lappguaanga@hotmail.com its in SFS db but registration completed?

It's only in there twice...within the includes file is set the spam threshold which is set to 5. As anyone can add anybody to the database I thought a spam score threshold would be best so that false positives aren't registered.

You can change this number in the includes file to a smaller one or try an email account that is listed on the first page of http://stopforumspam.com

Okay.
Testet with anothwr mail and itbwas stopped.
Nice feature with the mail to admin :)

People are going to ask for some admin config ;)

It will work on any style...there are no changes to any html file.
