Last chat line appears and not refreshing until F5

Me again, my mchat although its beautiful and installed, I seem to have a problem.
I disabled forum flooding or maybe it needs to be increased. But say every second chat the line stays in the chatbox and will not refresh, unless you delete it and/or fresh the page.
If you refresh the page, new box appears and the last chatline did successful go through. But you were prevented early from continuing to chat.
Any ideas what I can do. My board and chat are disabled at the moment until I can get fixed.
