It's saving text (in Text module) for replies, but when you choose the category, the bot reply during edit is empty.

I installed mine by auto mod with no errors

set up a bot account and it posts as a guest ?

also i have to refresh the page to see what the bot has posted back to me

im using the words hi

i will unistall it and reinstall and see how it goes

This has ACP entries obviously. Are you adding a new module to the mChat module or editing the php and html ACP files of the mChat mod?

Rich, I did not find a module. The config is in the mChat config area. 3 entries in the mChat menu in the ACP.

This is one brilliant addon but

is there a way to block or make it pick out just a word and not letter's within a word ?

example

pico types hi

bot posts hi pico (this works perfect)

but if a member types any word that as hi in it the bot posts back

example

pico types how are you this fine morning

and the bot posts hi pico back as this contains hi

mChat Bot is updated to version 0.1.0 with new features as bot creator, function to add warning for swearing (taking word from "Word censoring") and some code improvements

It works great. Do you think we could get more variables in the next version, like the {$username} it currently supports? How hard would it be to add our own variables?

Could you not do that with BBCodes? Or does this not support a bbcode?

Yea it does. I'll see how creative I can get with that.

Nevermind, no it doesn't. You can put BBCodes in it's replies of course, but it can't identify BBCode variables and then reply to them.

That is what I meant. There are BBCodes out there that will put in the User Name, so the variables are not needed really within the robot, unless there is no BBCode for it.
