You can use the attached for dark based styles. Adjust the css file as needed and don't forget to upload it into the mchat folder on your forum and make the call to the file within the overall_header.html file for your dark based style.

Re: Dark based styles 1.3.5 version
There is no need to make the call to the file in overall_header.html just include the css into the stylesheet.css file for the style and refresh the theme.
Stickified.

It is a css replacement to make the mchat have a dark style (example black background) to match dark themed styles

Ah so you simply replace your /styles/prosilver (or whatever)/theme/mchat.css file to edit the colour, cool thanks for sharing, I hope it helps some other curious noob

Little off topic... didn't want to start a new topic just for this.
Did a fresh install with automod on version 1.3.5 yesterday.
Perfect, smooth install. The one missing thing, {MCHAT_JP} ::1 on hover.
That's it. FYI

For those that have Dark Styles installed are you happy using the dark style chat theme or is it hard on the eyes to keep up with?

Re: Dark based styles 1.3.5 version
I am very happy with the dark styles chat on my website. I like Rich's chat on here too.
Something to keep in mind too, I had an employee who is visual impaired, almost blind. I used to set her monitor with a black background with white fonts and she can view it much better.

Thank You DG_deafgal. I will most likely go with the dark version but wanted opinions of those that use them.
I have asked on my forum and it is a split decision. Go figure.

Martin that is pretty good, thanks for the code but when installed the user is typing in dark grey on grey
can I change the input ink to white please? as the input ink is too close in colour to the background, also the input font is very small, could I up the size a bit?

I don't have that color problem in my ca_black style.

Sniper I found the grey one from Martin better for DeathWing_107 until I found that the input font is tiny and too close to the background colour, what do you think?
