the sad truth is that many forums out there are in sad decline, a prime example is the new Official Playstation forums just launched, after 2 months of frenetic (honeymoon) action - contribution levels have now dropped off a cliff

and there are a shed load of forums seeing similar apathy from people who would previously have lapped it up. where are they now? Facebook! Twitter! :popcorn:

Forums have now slotted firmly in way behind Facebook and Twitter (I don't know if you agree) so to see too heavy handed Mods/Admins chopping people out for mentioning rival companies against such a backdrop of social media "competition" is even more galling :drunk:
