Rich,
What is this and what is your opinion on it? Is it issue free? Does it cause any performance issues?

It isn't free for users ($2.99?)and is not a validated mod (though they have submitted it to the MODDB in the past).

I also think there may be a security issue with it, but don't quote me on that.

It works with unmodded boards well. But the more mods you install, the poorer it performs. I gave up.

I tried it before. Didn't really bother me. Took it down though. Only because I didn't want my users paying $2.99 or so for this Application that only runs on Android and iPhone/iPod Touch devices. So I took it down.

I am looking for an alternative to this. I would like a mobile version of my forum.

There is an excellent mobile version for your iPhone/iPod touch now. I set it to be activated when users enter the board from those two devices. It is called Artodia mobile...

Nice one! I've just added this is and works well, If your reading this rich. Do you know how I can get it to load the index.php when my site loads up on the iPhone without it sending me to portal.php as default? I know I've had to add some code in the session.php so I wondered if there was a re-direct function within that?

I've noticed that my old Tapatalk app works, after I have re-installed it. So I use it to read one of my forums on my iPad occasionally. It is not as convenient as an ordinary browser, however, and I see little reason for people to pay for the Tapatalk application. If Tapatalk shared its profit from the sale, I'd be more interested, perhaps.

The additional inconvenience is that the Tapatalk interface is in English only, as far as I remember.

It doesn't hurt to have an extra option - even if it is only for myself ;)
