Never heard of it until today. Never used Linux on my local.. Only at hosting sites.

I'v played around with linux before but found for hosting windows was easer to set up but there is limitations on what can be run on windows ie stokers server on line code changes and other snippets of code
i got linuxmint on download so il give it a shot but chances are il change it to another version of linux

my hosting has gone down too and as we use the same one lol i just spoke to the owners of the hosting suppler and he said he has no idea why every ones site is down and he has all the techs on the job to find out why

Sorry for the issue there was an attack to the server and we had to pull the server down to fix the issue.

now my server is linux based and my other machine is linux lol windows has hit the bin

The main reason I changed personal opsy from win to linux was all the troubles my localhost in windows gave me. This is a while ago now. win might be better today, but now I love kind of everything with *buntu, so the win-train seems to be missed on personal levels. I do study and do support on win, but I am not impressed.
