We want to get web-masters back into the game - with GRA4 any phpBB installation can get it's own full-blown social networking subsystem.

You don't seem to have a account named "phpBB" to use for testing this. It might also need a password.

phpBB version needs to be more precise than "phpBB3", ex 3.0.10

So a version 0.0.0.3 is already in RC3? Do you plan to release it as 0.0.1? Your MODX file says version 1.0.0.
The amount of commented out debug stuff makes it feel beta stage, definitely not RC.
Please make up your mind about what version this is.

To be sure to not have any empty lines or spaces at the end of the file you can just leave out ?>. The file will terminate when it hits EOF, and BTW EOF is a abbreviation for End Of File. For //EOF GRA4Log it is common to use // function GRA4Log.

The code is really well commented, I love that part.
