Sure, sorry, i'm a bit busy, so i havn't gotten round to doing it yet. I've got a lot of things i still have to do, also for QI. Just host it on your site, but please try to keep it up to date. ;)

So I'm using this as part of ... unfortunately when it creates a directory within /boards/ the ownership of the files is different from my FTP account. I know I can use chwon and chgrp to update the user and group ids to the correct values, but is there any way to resolve this so I don't have to go though these steps on every board install?

I should also mention that I'm using this on my dedicated server, but I have the qi share locked down with htaccess.

I would use an automised chown for this. If PHP has the permissions you can run chown() from within PHP. Else just have a bash script do it for you. I can't think of anything else, but i don't know very much about it either.
