changing my host

i,m gonna change my host , and i have a full backup of my forum ( tar.gz file) database and folder.
how can i do this without loosing my forum topic . posts. users?

Upload the files to the new host, go to phpmyadmin and import the database backup. After that go to the config table (in phpmyadmin), it's called phpbb_config. Change the host and the script_path there. And also the cookie settings. Now you should be done :)
