I agree with what FoA said on area51. They don't exactly keep all those extra HD's on hand. So they'd probably ordered them. Then I assume what ever team member has the task of doing it has to configure the stuff and unless they live in Ohio send that via mail to the lab in Ohio. Where what ever tech there installs the servers.

I think they simply took the opportunity out of the crash to start testing Olympus in a realtime envoirnment before reinstalling the old one. This way they surely see better possible new bugs and can test fixed bugs.

So I'm pretty sure the final release will still took a while ;-)

But it looks nice, although I have to learn the new design :-)
