Subscriptions with phpBB3 Rc7

I am working on configuring a forum for a coworker and the way we have it set to that it looks cleaner on the main page is we have forums and then some subforums under them instead of categories and then forums under them. What we would like to be able to do is when someone subscribes to one of the forums that it also subscribe them to any subforums. Is this at all possible?
