It's not new news, but hey. New CAPTCHA plugins, ATOM Feeds, Cache/ACM plugins and Quick Reply

I'm excited, especially about the ATOM feeds (though I'd of preferred to see RSS, or both), I think Atom/RSS is one of the biggest things currently missing from 3.0, so it's great to see ATOM being added.

If you're a code junkie like me some of the changes are already in the [url=http://code.phpbb.com/svn/phpbb/branches/phpBB-3_0_0/phpBB]SVN 3.0 branch[/url].

They've already started? Wow..at this rate we really will have an RC in 2-3 months!

If I remember it corrects it's something they held back from 3.0.0 gold so they could get it out the door. They didn't include it but it was mostly already finished. It's definitely not an existing mod or past mod. I don't remember who mentioned it in the topic, but it was either Meik or naderman.

I think it was inspired by a MOD but the code is not the same.
