What are your thoughts about MODX? Do you use it? Will you use it in future?
For those who don't know what MODX is, look [url=http://www.phpbb.com/mods/modx/]here[/url].

I like the idea. It allows you to stylize you MOD file. It creates a clearer standard.
What i like about the text template, is that its easy to write by hand. Just copy and paste without much around it. So i guess i'll be using either MOD studio (that allows you to save your files as modx btw), or the [url=http://www.phpbb.com/mods/modx/template_converter.php]MOD to MODX convertor[/url].
I have never used it for a MOD, but i intend to do so!

- we're poor!
I don't really care.
What I have done is create a database system for managing my MODs. One of the features is the ability to extract the information in a variety of formats, including BBCode, the standard text MOD template, and - eventually - MODX as well. I made a blog post about it [url=http://www.phpbbdoctor.com/blog/?p=24]here[/url].

[ot] You haven't even seen a tenth of it yet. I will be mentioning some other features in future posts. [/ot]
To be honest, I have an reaction to MODX. The text format has "legacy support", the MODX will make things easier for EasyMOD as things are more structured. But either way you look at it, both formats are simply a set of instructions to be applied. What is different is the format. Someone that was unable to figure out the text format might have a better shot at the MODX format, I don't know.
