Board rules

These rules are disclosed to clarify the various responsibilities of all community members here on phpBBModders.net. They shall be adhered to by everyone to ensure that our board runs smoothly and provides a fun and productive experience for all of our community members and visitors.

  1. General

    1. We are aware that not everybody is a native English speaker, but this is an English speaking community, so please only use English. #
    2. Any illegal or adult content or links to such will not be accepted, and removed. #
    3. All users deserve as much respect as any other. #
    4. Any racist remarks will lead to a new row in the banlist table. #
    5. Advertising, solicitation and other spam are not allowed. #
    6. Deletion of posts and other material shall be at the discretion of the phpBBModders.net administrative/moderation team. #
    7. Please note phpbbmodders.net is not responsible for the content on any forums outside this domain (phpbbmodders.net). We have no control over other websites that use the phpBB software. #
  2. Posting

    1. Please read the forum descriptions and stickies before posting to see if you’re posting in the correct location. #
    2. We will allow bumping within 48 hours of your last post. No double posting should be needed. You can also use the edit post feature. #
    3. All mods/extensions or snippets of code posted on phpBBModders must have a GPL compatible license. Any mods/extensions or code snippets posted with a non free license will be subject to deletion. #
  3. Private messaging

    1. Please refrain from sending support requests to members via private message, unless requested. #
    2. We respect your privacy, private messages remain private. The only case we read a private message is if a specific user complains and gives us the id of that message. #
  4. Images & profile information

    1. Signatures should be no larger than 500x100. #
    2. Avatars should be no larger than 100x100 and smaller in size than 205kb. #
  5. Contacting us

    1. The “Site feedback” forum is available for any general queries and questions about the site. You can also report problems there. #
    2. If you have any problems with a staff member, contact an administrator by private message. #
