Re: Windows 7

If you're a college student (I'm not sure if it's only Americans or not), you can get 7 pro for $30 at win741.com. I got it, and it's awesome.

Re: Safe submission of data

Thanks! I'll look into it. Although I do think I have a plan, but if that would work better I'll check it out.

Safe submission of data

I'm working on a MOD that will allow people to rank posts: (NOTE: It will be prettier when I'm done). Now, I need to add a row to the new 'vote' table when you click on the appropriate link. What's the best way to safely send this data to ...

Update

Hey guys, I just wanted to say that I should hopefully be back for a while. Since I last was here I've moved out on my own (technically with my girlfriend, but away from my parents), started school, and I got hired as a software developer at Cisco Systems. It's been ridiculously busy. But I should b...

Re: Blazes

Sorry I missed this thread. I've been so insanely busy lately, but hopefully (knock on wood), things have calmed down enough that I can return.

Automatic Updating of phpBB and MODs

Now that blinky is out, I think we should all look towards a future where phpBB and MODs update themselves (after an agreement from an admin).

Re: DB Diff Renderer

I'm using phpBB's getTables function, and getting an array of each DB. Then using array_diff to make an array of tables added, and one of tables removed. I think I have the columns figured out, I just need to work on it a bit.
