i changed $phpbb_root_path = (defined('PHPBB_ROOT_PATH')) ? PHPBB_ROOT_PATH : './'; to $phpbb_root_path = (defined('PHPBB_ROOT_PATH')) ? chat window now loads fine, i just cant figure out why images (avatar, delete button, etc) do not load on my mchatx.php page. they load just fine if i go to mysite.com/forum/mchat.php any idea what would cause javascript to not load images? - they only load in if i refresh the page this is my curren...

You have to include the code from index.php as well as the html include that you find within index_body.html you had stated that previously which should have indicated to me that i had to have mchat enabled on my index page, is it possible to just include the code from mchat.php (http:/yoursite.com...

mchat_body2.html was just a copy of the stock mchat_body.html located in the same directory. since then I just changed the template back to target the stock one.

I copied and pasted your code into a file called mchatx.php which can be viewed here:

heres the code for the page i have in my ./ root directory - not the /forums/ directory.. it loads avatars/img's upon page request, and if the page is refreshed, but if you type in a new message it wont. it is more visable when logged into the admin account because you also wont see the edit/delete/...

I ended up trying another route, i opened mchat.php, copied the code and pasted it into a blank page called mchatx.php located in my root directory, changed my forum root path to: $phpbb_root_path = (defined('PHPBB_ROOT_PATH')) ?
