I find it very useful to add bookmarks in my code editor and add todo blocks in comments (I made a habit of using the phpDoc format for this).
It is also a good idea to comment your code a lot, rather too much than too little.

Nice MOD. It would be nice to have an option of moving all posts to a forum (trash can) for archiving purposes instead of deleting. probably, you are using PHP 4, which doesn't understnad what to do with "protected" or "public" etc. You need PHP 5 for this to work.
