Re: Londonvasion

Aha! Well, I don't know if dev team is going to like removing it...I mean, they added it, they must have some reason for wanting it there, no matter how, if I may, stupid. :P

Re: Londonvasion

I don't think he means that you can't have edits, and I'm sure many larger MODs will need to edit core code, but the idea of taking alphaPORTAL down from 24 edits to perhaps 12 is greatly appealing to me, and most likely, the people installing it. I'd be happy if I could get a place to put files if ...

Re: Hi from the UK

Many of the MODs here are at STG too...or maybe not, but anyways, STG has too many buggy mods to find the good ones <!-- s;) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_wink.gif" alt=";)" title="Wink" /><!-- s;) --> I really wish people would post MODS in development for MODs that aren't even beta yet... Re: admin / normal user code switch

You can also, if you only want founders to use it, you can do...
$user->data['user_type'] == 'founder'...
Or atleast I think that is the code...maybe not, however.

Re: Hi from the UK

That's fine! alphaPORTAL, although it can be configured in the ACP to be much smaller, there is really no reason to install it if you are going to disable most of the stuff, it'd be easier to just make your own portal type thing.

Can I see a link to the board now that it is done?

phpBBmodders doesn't reveal their code ;) Unfortunately, I doubt they will let anyone have access to it.

sorry, I meant editor.js. Pastebin: <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://phpbbmodders.net/pastebin/">http://phpbbmodders.net/pastebin/</a><!-- m --> You paste code in there to show other people. The files you need to put in are styles/your_style/template/posting_buttons.html, styles/your_style...
