I didn't provide you any code and am not sure what you mean by "I changed actually code with your code...".

That mod adds a new config entry called avatar_max_dimensions which is found in the ACP under the avatar settings it looks like. You just change the dimensions set there. Nothing to do with editing code.

Re: Resize Avatars (avatar of poster on index and viewforum)
You aren't understanding what I am telling you. The mod has settings that are separate from the forum settings for avatars
Re: Resize Avatars (avatar of poster on index and viewforum)
Madalin, go to ACP / General tab / Avatar settings / Avatar of Poster on Index and Viewforum (scroll down to the bottom to see this...)
The settings there will only effect the avatars of the posters in the Index and Viewforum shown in this mod

Re: Resize Avatars (avatar of poster on index and viewforum)
The image you show in your post looks fake like wrong. The top image has more height than the bottom image.
They are not both 40px in height. There is something off there.
This mod will not let an image be more than 40px width OR more than 40px height if that is your max setting.
If a person has an avatar 90px wide by 120px high it will resize it 30px wide by 40px height.
If a person has an avatar 120px wide by 90px high it will resize it 40px wide by 30px height.
It will never exceed max width or max height but will show it proportional to it's true size.
By you wanting to make an image like that square, it will distort the image. That's just wrong.
Why not just be happy with the mod because it's fine just the way it is to me.
