Re: Recent issue with MCHAT
You need to speak to your hosts, maybe they've updated php on your server and not added the mb_string extension.

Re: Human SPAMMER
Word censor his links? There used to be a kitchen company in the UK that must have used a dodgy (is there any other kind?) 'seo' company . The links were similar but varied by town name, they always included 'kitchen' though so I added the following word censors... *kitchen*.co.uk *kitchen*.com They...

Re: Manually adding code!
Why would someone write up a bunch of code and add extra files to make that 1 line of code work... that wouldn't make sense to me. +1 I'm sticking with 3.0 for the foreseeable future. Extensions are a great idea for larger modifications/plugins but for small tweaks like that are just daft . I'm als...

Ooops. I saw the message on rmcgirr83.org so I registered here before this announcement was made. Are the posts being merged or is it just the account info?

Re: mChat AeroBlue Unable to complete install
That's because there are buttons instead of the standard Prosilver navbar links. To add a new button to the navigation bar , Find, <!-- IF U_RESTORE_PERMISSIONS --> <a class="squarebuttonl" href="{U_RESTORE_PERMISSIONS}"><span>{L_RESTORE_PERMISSIONS}</span></a> <!-- ENDIF --> Add...

Re: Can you go with out Mchat
It's a nice addition to my forum but not essential. I will be updating to 3.1 eventually, with or without a chat box. The only other chat currently being developed for 3.0 is way too complex for my liking so even if it is ported to 3.1 I don't think I will go that route. Thanks for all your hard wor...

Re: 3.1 update
I never update to a completely new version for at least a few weeks after release, I prefer to wait for any bugs that were missed to be ironed out. There are a few mods that I currently use that are being converted to extensions so I will be waiting for those. I will probably wait for Rich to conver...

Re: mChat and Bootstrap navmenu dropdowns conflict
Never mind, I gave up and made a simplified similar looking navbar without Bootstrap. It's not a perfect match but it's close enough and less bloaty.

mChat and Bootstrap navmenu dropdowns conflict
Hi guys, I'm struggling with something here and wondered if you lovely coders could help me? I'm using Bootstrap v2.1.1 in the redesign of my site an I'm adding a matching navbar & header for the forum. The problem I'm stuck on is that the dropdown menus work on pages that don't include mChat (v...

Check your overall_header.html, have you got more than one jquery being loaded?
