Hi Armis,
You will need to be more specific than "it makes me a mess not possible" for anyone to aid in sorting out your problem.

Re: Can I hide the whole forumindex for guests?
Yes you can set it so guests cant see the forum at all via permissions. I can't see why you would want to block guests if i visited a site and cant see what they have i would just move on. That's exactly what I would do as well, If you have a forum that is register for content only "all privat...

Re: Support needed: AutoMod & MChat
I still think this offer for installing 'MODS' should be banned! Via users  To a degree I agree with you Steve, as long as the folder holding the Installation & database is backed up before proceeding to carry out such work & the person requesting such help can see work carried out...

Re: Support needed: AutoMod & MChat
It's possible, Mchat 1.3.5 was made to work with phpBB3.0.9 & styles around 3.0.9 aswell, If AutoMode looks for an edit in the style older than this, it may not find what it's looking for as the code bit could of changed, your style goes back to 3.0.5, I think!, the last thing you want is a erro...

Re: Support needed: AutoMod & MChat
That's great news then, It's the style that's outdated making it look that way, I didn't pull the source code up to investigate, I have just sent you a Pm with a Link to a more updated style to have a look @.

Re: Disable phpbb to count total replies and post made in fo
t_backoff quoted to you exactly what I did in the thread you opened @ phpBB Why not just use the feature already implemented in phpBB (can increment post count)? In a further post @ phpBB, you explained that you had tried this option. I already have put "can increment post count" to no in ...

Re: Support needed: AutoMod & MChat
I didn't notice the link to your board so didn't know what style/s you were using, a visit now shows that your board is outdated, or looks that way with the style in use, that is deffo outdated, It may be better to bring these up to date before starting to add any Mods, this would allow the upgrade ...

Re: Support needed: AutoMod & MChat
You wont need to upload any files as this will be done automatically by AutoMod Hopefuly you wont have to edit any files either unless some alteration has been made to a file that AutoMod needs to make an alteration too, Eg, something has been altered where it needs to add some code above/below/inli...

Re: What do you think about the future of phpBB board softwa
FWIW, I do think phpBB is falling behind other forum software with the biggest difference being the lack of a "module" system (upload the mod and no need to edit files). I agree, But isn't this to change in future phpBB boards, eg 3.1? I have played around with MyBB on a testboard & i...
