mbstring or php-mbstring is usually compiled into php. Go to your forum ACP > General and click on PHP information . No mChat, no 3.1 for me. That mChat is probably one of the most prized and used features on my site. Removing it would be akin to pissing off a couple thousand armed 'Mericans... Not a good idea.

Update went rather smooth, a few hiccups but I won.. Beer helped. One of the last annoying things is happening only on when I click a link to see who is in a group (like admin, moderators, etc). I get a debug error(s) and the font is all huge on the page. This doesn't happen on the memberlist.php, b...
