I cleared the cache and refreshed the template.

I successfully installed this on a new board 3.0.11, but the flags are not showing even though the mod was activated in ACP, and I can actually see the flags in ACP list of countries, and users can choose a flag during registration. Where can the problem be, please?

You have to make that edit to that file as well as upload the mchat.css file into the styles theme directory then refresh the theme in the ACP as well as your phones browser cache. The Stylesheet for the mobile is not same as for Desktop. Knowing exactly where to put...

Sorry I meant within the styles stylesheet.css file not overall_header.html and you probably don't need this <script type="text/javascript" src="{ROOT_PATH}mchat/jquery-1.5.0.min.js"></script> as that style already loads jQuery. It works more than perfectly on my desktop version...
