Is anyone using the BoardTracker Search Engine Mod?
Hi, I found BoardTracker Search Engine Mod and it looks quite interesting, especially the fact that it uses BoardTracker for the search and indexing so there is no load on your server. Comments anyone? And also for those who use it, does it index posts in hidden forums (groups) but hide them from gr...

Re: How do I remove the BBcode menu in the editor?
The above worked, the only thing is that this user said open index_body.tpl whereas it should have been posting_body.tpl.

Re: How do I remove the BBcode menu in the editor?
The files you're looking for is templates/subSilver/posting_body.tpl ;) Hi Evil, I'll look at that template but someone (on phpBB) also suggested this: Select all [ OPEN ] index_body.tpl [ FIND ] <table width="450" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="2"> ...

Hi, thanks for all the pointers. Got another answer on phpBB: These are really very simple things that your doing. My solution sooner than installing a mod to change the message would be to simply edit the text in language/lang_english/lang_main.php and as for a mod to disable registration how much ...

Opinions please
Hi,
I would like to install 2 Mods, one for inserting my own message when I disable the board and one for disabling registrations. I've searched and found some but I would like to get some feedback from users who have such Mods installed on a ver. 2.0.22 Board.
Thanks,
Gene

You mean one for your site, not a forum? I have one I made that I use to use on my site. Smilies worked, had a admin area (sort of), uses flat files to store the data as well. Worked rather well. Sorry, I tend to call my Forum a Site. The shoutbox would be for a Forum and I edited my original post....

Shoutbox or Chat recommendations
Hi, I would like to add a Chat program or a Shoutbox to my Forum and I'm looking for feedback from users who have one working without a glitch. It's also important for it not to be heavy on server resources and bandwidth because I'm on a shared host. I wanted to install FlashChat but after reading m...
