If you are talking about "Mods Corner", nothings wrong there. It's the "Mods Corner" forum that is locked, not its sub-forums. Changed permissions and removed the lock. Either way someone will be confused why there's no post button in "Mods Corner".

That line of reasoning just doesn't add up.

I personally wouldn't suggest using the auto-update/merge approach. Do things right and you'll have no troubles. This is the whole reason Extensions were added to 3.1. Why go backwards in time.

Right now porting over our mods to extensions is taking priority. Since the entire site is ran on phpBB and a custom module system, it'll take some work to update the site. Right now tumba25 and RMcGirr83 are our only coders.
