I refresh my page when that happens. I think your session time runs out when that happens. It only happens to me when I have had a lot of idle time in the forum. You think that may be what's happening to you.

I have my session length set to 3hrs... Session length: 10800 seconds

Not sure is this could be the problem.

And how long are they in the chat and how long was it from their last post within either it or the forum? FWIW, phpBB3 will log one out if they just sit on a page without doing anything as per the amount of time as set in the ACP.

I've upgraded to mChat to 1.3.7. Same problem.

My config....

You are limited to the forum config setting for sessions which is currently set to 10800 seconds

Every place you see this within mchat.php remove the entire line or remove the entry.

just wanted to let you know that i also have this problem, phpbb 3.0.12 and Mchat is Version: 1.3.5

So after one hour and they do nothing on the forum, they would have to log in. This is just exactly how it works in the forum why would it be different in the chat?

Also you all need to remember, this is a shoutbox mod it isn't an IRC or anything like that.
