phpbb3-mchat installed but not able to send messages

like others I am having the same issue that ajax (Jquery) is not activated on my forum, so I am not able to send messages. I have checked all the edits to the theme and otherwise too. As a guest you can visit my chat plugin at the forum: http://forum.498a.org

I have seen others getting help and I have reviewed and made the required changes too, still it is not working. Please help

your forum is in a frameset ,please post a copy of your overall_header.html file between the [code] tags..

and lo and behold there is even a fix for it conflicting with mchat https://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtop ... #p13208598

Amazing what one can find when one reads a topic.

By the way, you will need jQuery 1.10.2 for mchat version 1.3.7 to work

Can't help if I can't see the files which I can't due to you having your forum in a frameset and I am not going to sit here and try and guess what the actual url to your forum is.

I was able to fix the issue by installing a separate forum and installing mchat in it and saw that it was working there, but not in the original forum.

I finally figured that I needed to refresh the avalon green theme once again. I had tried to do that earlier too, but my board said that my theme is in filesystem (not in database so no need to refresh).

I guess once I refreshed the theme, it picked up the edited overall_header.html from the filesystem.
