Problems: Row colour, Overlapping text and message type box

Hi, I've been searching through previous posts regarding my problem and trying things out to no avail.

Here is a picture of how our forum chat module appears at the moment:

I want the rows of messages to be light coloured, and of course for the messages not to go beyond the bottom like they are doing, and for the message typing box to stay in place with the general formatting.

Regarding the row colours I have seen stuff posted about editing mchat.css colours and refreshing the theme, but none of that has worked.

mchat.css and other related style files have the background/row colours as light colours.

Regarding the overlapping - I really don't have a clue about that.

Our forum: [url=http://www.everyday-mindfulness.org/forum/index.php]http://www.everyday-mindfulness.org/forum/index.php[/url] has it's own individual theme governing colours, etc., in a folder alongside prosilver and subsilver2.

Any help or pointers would be really appreciated. We are all newbies to this stuff generally so please go easy with any responses

You are missing the mchat.css include in that css file as well as the mchat.css within the theme directory.
