ACP > Move All Post > Leaves Residuals > Replies Etc

Hi don't know if its ok to post this topic here or if this is some mod request?


When ever I move all post say for to say a different section and I do it from the ACP, because the member has many topics; it leaves behind any replies or residuals posts.

How do I get the ACP function to move all post from the user, including the replies. So basically like all topics or threads started by ...


Hope this makes sense?

You would have to move the entire topic via the MCP, not via the ACP.

Is possible by Moderator Control Panel? Without seeing every one else's threads? MCP I don't let you do a advance search just by members name, etc, and not see other peoples topics.

You would also have to go, section by section, can this just be possibly doing with ACP, including residuals, seems like it would by a simpler process?

It would be a simpler process but not every one wants to do what you are trying to do. In short, no, there is no easy way to accomplish what you want to accomplish.

Very lengthy, and and time consuming work. In the end you want one thing, remove all the topics from one user to another section. This by default is available in the in the ACP.

My problem with all of this it just seems like it can be with an ease of a key stroke to includes the replies and not leave those behind.

Instead of the complicated method of going section by section, searching by author, increasing topics per page, do you see the problem? That method can take hours.

When we already have the ability in a seconds to move the beginning topic in the ACP, whats the difficulty with given an option to includes the replies and save us hours?

If its not option fair enough, lets agree your process is just way too lengthy, when it seems their is no reason why it can't all be done in the ACP.
