Can't reinstall

Every time I try to re install this I get a huge error on my board and not quite sure what I'm doing wrong. I uninstalled with Automod.

I've gotten it installed now. I didn't post the error because I'd have to have tried reinstalling it and didn't want to ruin my forum again. But it worked. Now I did the edits I needed to and I can't see it on the forum index and when I use the custom page and type a message I get "Call to undefined function mb_ereg_replace() in /home/taleofdr/public_html/forums/mchat.php on line 376"

Now I have everything working. Did something now I can't see it on the index again. Ugh. All the edits are correct. I've checked over several times.
