HOW to make a UMIF File?

Im trying to make a UMIF file that will create 5 different customer profile fields. How would I go about making a file. I am un able to find any good documentation on this. If you could give me an example of this i should be able to figure it out.

The "auto method" is probably best.

You would have to insert entries into the custom profile fields table to start, then add you module where you can manipulate those entries. I am unsure of the structure of the profile fields table in the db, but I would start by looking there for what needs to be done.

The installer that I have written and does the most (and is well documented as far as what it is doing) would be the mchat_install.php file which generates ~ 232 queries when ran with UMIL.

You will see how to add a database table, how to add entries into the config table, add permissions, make a module, etc., etc.
