mChat, Primetime & index page

I have installed mChat and it works fine. However, it doesn't show on the index page. It's not a surprise for me, as I have also installed the Primetime mod, which does a lot of modifications to the index page. Several other index page mods didn't work on my board too, but I managed to fix them somehow. The only one that still causes problems is mChat. So the question is: how to make it working on any page, assuming that I already have got the HTML template and the PHP file that loads that template?

I followed your advice, but haven't received any reply so far. That's why I wanted to avoid asking Primetime author for help.

So, could you tell me where and how should S_MCHAT_ENABLE symbol be normally (i.e. when mChat is installed over a "fresh" phpBB, no other mods) defined?

It is defined with the includes/functions.php edit

Again, I haven't a clue as I don't use the primetime mod and have no idea what files it uses. Is the mod active on the main page of the forum? If so then you must be missing an edit to one of the primetime mod files.

..and the mode is generated from within the mchat_ajax.js file.
