I've changed the file, but nothing changes. The deleted user's name remains. The word "Guest" doesn't replace it.

Does the mod apply to the users already deleted? Or only to the future ones?

Is it possible I've changed some settings before? Something I don't remember.

I'll add a new line for DELETED_USER in the language file.

I'll also try to restore the deleted user and then delete him again under the new terms. Don't like to play with the database - after five years of modifications and 9 thou users, I'd rather be careful.

PS. It doesn't work this way (restore/delete).

If it's any consolation the only table you would be touching would be the topics table and you can always shut down the board, make a backup of that table, try the query and see if it worked...and if it didn't, no biggie, just restore the backup and if it did, you just saved yourself a lot of time.
