I get it on nearly every page so that may be the case. Thanks Rich, I will look into it now and see if thats the issue :)

FWIW and future reference that will only happen if you select that sort of smilie to be displayed on the posting page. If it isn't selected to be displayed, then it won't show up in the mChat panel and you won't have this issue.

Ah yes I see. It was enabled to be displayed on the posting page, so I was getting the error on the index where the mChat was and also on posting.php

It was a rubbish smiley anyway so got rid of it :)
