Problem with smileys and bb code in Mchat

Postby Xanox » 28 Jul 2010, 08:26

Hello,

For starters i have to say youve put up a beautiful mod here :D

The only problem i have at the moment is that my emoticons or bbcode wont work anymore, nowhere on the forum, so allso not on the chat.

I figured it would be a problem with edditor.js, so i redid al the needed modificiations as shown in the install file to a backup of the edditor.js, replaced this file and refreshed all the files by the acp.

Still they appear perfectly and everything seems fine untill you click one of them.

Could you help me with this problem?

The url is

http://appelflap.xanox.org

If you need a testing account please tell me, ill make one for you.

Thanks in advance!

Jeroen.

This usually is due to misapplied edits to editor.js also important to remember is js files are usually cached by your browser, so if you ever make a change to them always remember to refresh your browsers cache. For Firefox, and many other browsers, this is done by hitting CTRL and F5 on your keyboard at the same time.

From your posts in the chat box I take it your issue has been resolved.

Yeah, it was, thanks for the reply tho :)

I did have another thing. haven't bein able to find a solution so far...

Maybe you can help.

Its the amount of messages posted in the minichat, its about 4 lines now and i would like it to dispay at least 5 or 6 to prevent alot of scrolling.

Would this be possible with simple modifications?
