mChat In One Forum

Hi Rich

I searched but could not find the answer. I am sure it has been asked but I went through about 7 pages and found nothing.

Simple question. I want to install mChat but I do not want it on the Index Page. I want to put up a forum for Live Chat. A forum of its own or a sub-forum..Undecided on that as of yet.

Can mChat be installed in one specific forum and not accessed any place else?

If yes(I am sure it can be), is there anything specific I need to know to do so?

Ok. Easy stuff. One more question then. I don't want people to be able to POST in the forum. If permissions to post are prohibited, will mChat still function? or is chatting considered a POST? Just curious before I spend too much time on this.

That's the ticket Mr. R. I will be off to install. I just checked the pngs in the screenshot. I guess I should have looked there first. That would have resolved one question.

Hmmmm...but I can LINK to the forum that the chat is in. Isn't that what Rich meant? Or did I miss something?

If you go to the index page on this site, there is a new forum towards the bottom. That is what I meant.
