There were no changes to the mchat_ajax_mini.js ,you can still use the title alert addon mchat_ajax_mini.js file with no conflict.

Not working for me. Have sound, everything is fine. Just installed the chat, and that was the first one I put on it. Can't get it working....I'll keep trying, but if anyone has any ideas. Have totally refreshed themes and templates, and even purged cache, and CTROL+F5 my browsers...

What version of mchat are you using?
make sure you have the correct ajax file and edits in place

Didn't work for me on 1.3.7, No 'new chat message' title and I have lost all sound, my date / time and admin features and when writing in the chat the test input stays in the box and doesn't vanish after hitting enter. also lost all collapse features on my forum.

Anyone experience the same issues and know a fix?

Upon further investigation the errors all seem to occur when I change out the mchat_ajax_mini.js, I made all other edits and the chat is still working as normal excluding the 'new chat message' feature. But as soon as I overwrite the .js I get all the above errors.
