i got rid of the error by uploading the old mchat_lang.php file but i still want the mod installed but i always get the error

upload you mchat.lang file to overwrite the damaged one and it will be fixed i got the same error the first time i did it

as one would say check your edits lol

What file are you using to edit your files PeanuT? It sounds like you've got a UTF-8 BOM problem, you can read more about the problem here: http://www.phpbb.com/kb/article/phpbb3- ... thout-bom/

Uhmmm, not sure what you mean but this mod wasn't built with facebook in mind.

Show to the user only the UNREAD posts in mChat New Topic / New Reply.

Not going to happen by me. One would have to query the tracking table in the database.

Oh sorry, wasn't clear, my bad.
What I meant was : When you notify the user in the tab bar, instead of showing "New Chat Message!" Just display "RMcGirr83 (x)" where x is the number of unreads messages on the chat (wich is reset to none when you switch to the tab)
