No, but you can use BBCode which will do the exact same thing...

He is entering that in the ACP under the General tab / Board settings
[ url]link[ /url] does not work there. I tried it.

There are other options to make that work like you want.
I'll have to get back to my computer to work that out.
No is NEVER an Option and NEVER is the only Option when it comes to Giving Up!™
